My wife and I are also looking to work remotely for a little while. But we would need a decent amount of bandwidth. I've got to run SAP.

"The Blue" - 06 Tundra DC Limited - Backcountry Camping Build/Adventure Thread

Beautiful truck. If I could make a suggestion, skip the Icon AAL. Or at least consider another manufacturer. I put an ICON AAL on my 02 and it was a complete waste of money. I should have just bought new leaf packs. If you are dead set on an AAL, consider Wheeler's. People seem to have better...

What part of TN is this in? I'm in Knoxville.

    Trailer go BOOM BOOM

That's terrifying. I can't imagine how scared I would be if I was awoken like that at 0400. I'd probably need some new underwear.

2005 Tundra novice build - "The Rez"

Well I'm going to order a winch as soon as I find a decent deal. I'll report back once I have it installed. I'm going with a synthetic line to save weight. I'm hoping I can continue getting by with 650lb springs.

Interesting to see you switch back to 650lb springs. I just added a brute force fab bumper. I've not added a winch yet but I do have skid row skids. Despite the weight my ICON coilovers with 650lb springs are doing ok. I was worried it would ride really rough with the bumper.

I'm no brake expert. If the rotors haven't been replaced in a while then I would do all 3. If they are new you may be able to just replace or rebuild the calipers.

Jake’s 1st Gen Tundra Camping Build & Trips

I've heard a road force balance may be required to eliminate tire vibrations on the highway. Some guys on the Tundra forum have done this. The only complaint I've seen was from a guy that did a diff drop on this Tacoma then he smashed it on a rock(the diff). He was claiming that having the...

    Lexus GX 460 & 470 owner's thread

Question for those familiar with the 4.6L in the 460. Are these prone to have the secondary air pump failure that's so common in the other engines? Is there anything else I should be aware of with the 4.6L?

Are you guys doing the math at the pump or going by what the computer is saying? Just curious. Most vehicles I've owned have not been as accurate as doing the actual math.

I wish Toyota would fix the air injection pump failures. It's an expensive repair that seems to happen often to the 4.7, 4.6 and 5.7L. I've heard it's easier to replace on the 4.6L but haven't confirmed this.

Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

That's so cool. Thanks for sharing. What kind of fuel economy can it get and is it comfortable? Be sure to protect the undercarriage so your harsh winters don't rot it out. I use Fluid Film but I've heard their are better options.

Just curious, why do they need to be kenneled in the vehicle? Hell, we travel with 2 big dogs in our Rav4. If you can't get it done in a GX460 then nothing is going to be big enough.
