Odometer reads not in Kilometers or Miles... but in FEET!
I swapped 2 sets of snows this last weekend too (not my usual 3 sets, as the Alltrack wore it's summer/'no-season' tires all winter). But, it was ~1200lbs of wheels that I moved (Sprinter and the ID4)
You should post a few pics of...
Made it out of the Front Range of CO last Wednesday before Snowmageddon 2024 fully hit (16-20" in Denver/Boulder, and 40"+ in the foothills) on our planned trip to Durango/Purgatory ski area. Van load of my wife, 21yr and 14yr old sons, our Boston, and myself.
We encountered HEAVY snowfall...
In short, yes.
I don't have a transit, but I fit the largest tires I could (255/85/16, just under 33") on our 4x4 Sprinter without having to lift. The extra clearance under the pumpkin is nice, and they look sweet too. Bonus on our rig is that the 33" spare still 'fits' in the OEM location...
Just a few notes. Not that I'm a professional up-fitter, but I did build out our van from an empty cargo (with help from my wife and oldest son) - besides the SMB top.

Stopped for a quick pic coming home from riding my mnt bike (playing hooky from work  )

I have photos of a bunch of previous vehicles at this spot just outside of Boulder, it's just very photogenic 📸
Made a quick trip to Chaco Canyon in NM to see the eclipse this weekend. Wife, youngest son, and pooch on board.
Left the Boulder CO area after work on Friday, camped outside of the park on BLM land/parking lot (arrived at 1:30am), viewed the eclipse in the park (so cool), toured some Pueblos...
Nice info on the pulley issue and fix - thanks! How many miles on your rig? (makes me think I should go listen for weirdness on mine)
Just to add to the cool plane pics. I went on a fly-in fishing trip in Ontario with my father and youngest son, 13, this summer (did the trip with my oldest...
And the prevalence of such failures are exaggerated. Not every Sprinter (or even more than a very low % of them) requires $16k worth of exhaust system work within the first 120kmi. If something does go wrong in the system, its more likely to require A new part, not all of it replaced. But...
