    2005-2007 are the "best" years of the First Gen Sequioas..you get the updated transmission and VVTI. 2008 is the beginning of the new body style. Frame Rust is by far he biggest issue on them followed by lower ball-joint failures. Water-pump and timing belt should be done around 100k.

    I ended up going with the SPC UPPER CONTROL ARM SET and Falken Wildpeak 275/70R17s. Really happy with the way it feels so far.

    Finally got rid of the old rims, had the Dobinson 1.75 lift kit installed along with new UCA, Tie Rods, and LBJs. Really enjoying the truck so far!

    Got the Sequoia out on her maiden voyage w/ the ARB awning and screen room. We went down to Frisco in the NC Outer Banks and camped for a few nights before heading back up the coast to stay in Nags Head for a couple nights. Can't wait to get some progress made on suspension/wheels/tires/lbjs but...

    Thank you for the reply! That's exactly what I am looking for. I wouldn't mind 1"-1.5" but am really trying to avoid going overboard and needing to rebuild everything just to fit bigger tires.
