Could be, but I didn't want to get mud on the leather. Our first week out with this rig and we got snowed on and the dry lake bed turned to mud at Mormon Creek during Expo West '15. We have mostly left them on. Thanks, we still have only 164k and have had loads of fun exploring.

I think they'll pay for themselves in protecting the interior leather over the long term though. I get to finally see them tonight for the first time!
