A Better Way To Case A Hi Lift Jack

Looking for neat, cheap ideas to keep a high lift useably clean in bed of pickup. I've tried the Hi Lift "bag" which lasted about a month, the hard case is too much, the neoprene may not be tough enough? Hope you folks have come up with a magical, inexpensive way to keep the Jack clean, ready...

    Bottle Jack

I believe the Bogart Jack system is intended to be used in conjunction with the Bogart Jack stand. Jack it up, put in the stand, Jack up again with an extension, put in a taller stand extension, etc. at least that's the way I see it being used. One w/o the other would be like wearing only one...

    Grill.. Looking for options

I have an old Pyromid stove which I loved for years until they went out of business and I needed parts. Écoque is now making one which looks exactly like the Pyromid. Anyone else have experience with these kind of stoves? It has a grate that held the charcoal on end and put out an amazing amount...

    Camp Time furniture

We've got three cots, one table and four stools and enjoy all of them! The firmness if the cots can be adjusted, which is nice. The table isn't a stable as some, but ours has lasted twenty years of being packed on a horse and it suits us just fine because it is so light. Also the table legs can...

Craftsman MAX AXESS - socket set

This "idea" is older than dirt! I had a set from Sears I bought 20 years ago. Called something like "O" socket . Did not have a Craftsman lifetime guarantee. They can be very handy, but the problem was with the ratchet being very weak. Just couldn't take the hard work of a normal socket wrench...

    Tent heater ideas please

I've used Big and Little Buddy heaters for years in both RVs and tents. They do have a low oxygen shutoff, which makes them unusable over 7,000' so to an extent they are "safe". To a point, but I'd not be comfortable running them all night. We use really good sleeping bags, rated for much lower...

    Coleman Instant Tent?

Have one of these and like it, BUT have only used it during the summer, with moderate wind. Very satisfied, but not so sure it is THAT much easier than a two pole regular tent! http://www.eldoradocamping.com/

    Reccomendations for open fire cooking?

These things are found all over the western states made by various manufactures. They are great EXCEPT - you have to watch out the several surfaces don't get out of balance, which results in their "walking" their ay down the post and dumping dinner in the fire. I have used an old vise grip to...

    Wood Stoves for tents...

Four Dog stove for the upper 1% of income Four Dog stove is "the best", but outrageously expensive because it is made of titanium. Light as can be and VERY well made.
