    Overland Chef's Knife Selection

Not nearly the quality I like for knives, but this thing is great for camp kitchen duties. https://www.messermeister.com/products/adventure-chef-6-folding-chefs-knife

how to best protect 6 gauge 30 Adc power and ground under truck

Good quality wire ( like the Anchor you chose) and then split loom the entire length. Zip tie every foot or so. If you pass through any holes use grommets. Run it on top of the frame rail if you can. Much less likely to get damaged there. Especially avoid high heat areas (as others have said).

Aux switches. What to look at (SPOD, ARB LINX or Switch Pros)

I also went SwitchPros after much consideration. I don’t regret it. The app is a little wonky, but does its job. I mainly use the control panel anyway.

    ARB Elements Failure / Repair

I've had an ARB Elements fridge/freezer for about 14 months and one day a few weeks ago I went to pre-cool the fridge before leaving on a trip and it wouldn't turn on. No lights on the control panel, no interior LED, no sounds, just dead. I started trouble shooting by checking the hard wired...

Tire Deflators - What Do You Use and Why?

I tried the ARB deflator, but ultimately I went to the Staun’s. I like being able to walk away while they do their business. I used to verify pressures every time, but they were so reliable, I just trust them now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tablets with WIFI + cellular or WIFI only?

On the iPhone and iPad you have to buy the Cellular models to get an onboard gps chip. You don’t have to have an active SIM for gps to work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

pop rivet & nut setting toolS recommendations wanted

I’ve got the Astro Pneumatics (1422) and so far it’s been great. I did read about some folks having difficulty with it due to “grit” in the pivot points, so I took mine apart and cleaned/relubed before ever using it. One other though, if you are going to set any Plusnuts, be sure to get the...

I’m no longer looking (NLL) for this rack. I decided to go wit the Yakima Outpost HD instead. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

iPad not receiving GPS like it should

I use a Duel GPS receiver with a non-WIFI) iPad mini and Gaia for primary navigation. Works great. Acquires faster and holds signal better than my iPhone 11 in trees and canyons. Also I believe you can connect two different devices via Bluetooth if that is useful in your cabin configuration...

NLL: Leitner ACS for Nissan Frontier 6' bed (should be the same for 2016-2020)

I need a little more storage and would like to add a Leitner ACS rack and some gear pods to my truck. I have a 2020 Nissan Frontier KC SV (6' bed). This should be the same rack for any Frontier 6' 2016-2020. I don't know enough about the Leitner system to know if their racks can be converted to...

Sold - Leitner Designs Forged Rack & Accessories for 6'-4" bed

Just out of curiosity, can these be modified for shorter bed lengths i.e. 6’1” ? I’ve never seen one up close, but was kinda hoping they were modular and the top tubes could just be cut shorter. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
