Nice! having the porch with an awning looks awesome as long as you don't mind the bigger trailer. Having that extra wing space is like 2 build in tables and convenient for strippling out of dirty clothes etc. are you putting any significant tension on the jack up front? I've found that the...

$649?!? DAYUM. Thats a Big Boy price to go with 'em! They sure do look nice however - 19 inches wide should help a lot with stability

Nice! Love the pics! What ramps did you settle on to make it all work?

Ha - I love the rubber dampening mods and the paracord loops... What a great idea! :p I didn't realizer that the bigger models still had the same size tent as the original 6x9. That actually gives you a lot of room under the top to put coolers, gas cans, or whatever else.

I only load the dirtbikes <=250lbs wet up a 10 foot folding AL ramp and even then the ramp flexes more than i'd really like while riding or walking on it. Is it going to break, probably not, but its definitely not confidence inspiring. Can you live with steel versus AL?

But where are the pictures? New, Used? Xodius - I've got a set of the ATV loading bars for my JJ that I'm never going to use (dirtbikes not ATV's in our life) if you have any need for them

Definitely the 22 degree arms (or your 45 arms are somehow shockingly worn out). I'd give JJ a call and see if its possible to somehow swap out the rubber inserts on them. What is your goal for tire size? Even just going to the 45 degree "stock" like I've got you can fit a much larger tire...

huh - thats good to know and easy for Xodius to check!

Xodius - can you get a wider angle shot? it looks like your trailer is really "sagging" if thats distance from fender to wheel with the stock wheels. Here is a pic of mine as it currently sits with a couple hundred pounds of stuff on top of trailer. The tires are 27.5 inches and there is...

Up for sale? Canvas in bad shape? Something happen to turn it into rough condition? Yours is such a nice one with cool mods on it! Depending where you are I might have someone interested in it, he's always cussing at mine while pitching his kodiak tent ;)

Xodius - you've got 2 inches of fender clearance with 33's on it? or something else? I've read of guys doing the equiv of a block lift (putting a spacer between the trailing arms and the frame mount) but thats some fairly precision alignment to get it all fab'ed up straight

Xodius - Did someone rmove the rear stabilizer jack on yours or get ripped off forgetting to put it up perhaps? The rear stabilizer makes it was less bouncy in my experience, I've seen someone who actually added two in the rear corners rather than just the one stock on in the center. If you...

Patina - I've never cleaned any stains on my tent with more than just a little bit of "Resolve" and a sponge - which I assume is the equiv of oxiclean. I wouldn't hesitate to use oxyclean on canvas... Its canvas after all. http://www.kodiakcanvas.com/care-instructions/ this is sort of the...

love it! that canvas stain is definitely ugly though, is there a matching one on the roof of the tent wehre something leaking into the bag while it was close up? i've had good luck with just resolve carpet cleaner and/or a mixture of just oxyclean in a bucket and a sponge for getting a couple...

    2007 Jumping Jack Build

Sounds awesome! I have to admit that the foam pieces to "level" out the bedding seems like an absolute must to me having done months worth of nights in it now. you could probably get by with putting dirty clothes or towels or something else underneeth it, but without those its really a 1 inch...
