I read your response again today. At first, I did not realize that you were doing all of this with the stock rear diff. Are you also standard height. That is impressive for a stock truck.
A winch could probably get you out of most binds.
Thanks for the videos

I bought my 2000 7.3 Hightop conversion some time ago. I am wondering if anyone has a video of what this van can do with an electronic locker or air locker only.
I need to thin the Hurd and I am making decisions. It took 10+ years to find the 7.3 conversion van with high top. I have...
Find a Toyota previa.
Much better all the way around
In my area the two wheel drive models were extremely problematic. (Mazda MPV). A ton sold but they're not many around anymore.
Consider all wheel drive Chevy Astro or even a Toyota sienna van. An AWD drive express van is a great option also...
I will post pics soon.
Are any of you guys running Toyota tundra wheels all the way around?
I am wondering if they are too wide for the front?
I would like to upgrade to a 16 wheels, I run load e rated 265/65/16s on my Land cruiser and they perform pretty well. (Falken wild peaks)
My 1994 Toyota Tomboy Hiace 4x4 has arrived.
What size wheels and tires are you guys running?
Mine is on the larger size. It has 8" wide wheels in the rear and 6" wide wheels in the front.
How tall of a tire can I go without a lift?
Would someone please help translate these pictures? I think...
This post had me worried about the full-time 4x4 statement. I need the better fuel mileage in my Hiace RV then the fulltime 4x4s usually gets.

Everyone likes what they like but if I bought something to keep in Mexico I would look for something that isn't offered in the USA. Mexico has some vehicles that we can't get. They may have gotten the Diesel Xterra, I know that they are in Columbia, Panama, and Brazil. They got some diesel...
The automatic Xterras had problems with oil coolers in the transmission failing and allowing water to get into the transmission fluid. The manuals should not have this issue. If you get an automatic bypass the oil cooler.
I would not buy one with a supercharger if you want something simple...
Thanks for the information. I haven't heard of many faults with Nissan's lately. I remember issues with the oil coolers in the early to mid-2000's Xterra's and pathfinders; the early titans had issues with burning oil. Do these have any specific issues common to specific years?
reading through this thread confused me a lot. I was under the impression that Q80 was an upgraded Armada which is based on the Nissan Patrol. But it sounds the Q80 has a smaller/weaker diffs then the Armada and Titan. It seems crazy that the Q80 has Pathfinder axles. I have never owned Nissan...
