Is the 6.2L a problematic engine, when compared to the 5.3L Valve train issues? Does it require premium fuel?

I like the 5.3L in my truck, it's good enough However, my 2012 F150 3.5L would run circles around my Silverado.....especially when towing and driving through deep snow

Thanks. I thought the 6.2L was having some issues......plus I think 91+ octane is recommended? My 5.3L just turned 102,000 miles with no issues.......

Side note.....how are the 6.2L engines doing in the Trail Boss trim?
