    Titan and Titan XD frame

Now I’m unsure what information the OP was looking for based on replies. 😂 As for payload capacity comparisons, my fully loaded 2020 Ranger Lariat had over 1700 lbs of payload. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Titan and Titan XD frame

When comparing the XD to the standard Titan frame, the XD has more crossmembers and is taller. You can see that height when you realize on an XD, the front tow hooks are mounted below the bumper and through the skid plate instead of above it in the lower grill opening as on the standard Titans...

    MPG: Ranger vs F150

When I was first researching a tune, the FP Tune didn't allow for towing and wouldn't allow tire size adjustment to larger than about 33" tires. After numerous emails back and forth with the FP engineers, they finally "adjusted" the tune and now it they say towing is fine. I think the OZ...

    MPG: Ranger vs F150

After installing the larger tires, did you adjust the speedo using FORSCAN or other means? if not, your odometer will be off and the calculations will be off, too. I got about 20 completely stock with my stock FX4. When I went to 287/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, I dropped to 17-ish (speedo...

Aux switches. What to look at (SPOD, ARB LINX or Switch Pros)

MANY good reviews for these on Amazon and YouTube. I can't see spending three to four times this for a very similar product. There are both six and eight button options.

    2022 Ford Ranger

It seems crazy to me that they'd be going after fleet vehicles in four segments: Compact with the Maverick Mid-size with the Ranger Full-size with the F150 Heavy Duty with the F250+ I could see wanting a F150 in a regular cab short bed configuration for sport truck stuff, but I don't see many...

    New Bronco

It's possible, but there are definitely differences in the long block as well. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-shows/detroit-auto-show/a15840269/ford-focus-rs-ranger-engine/

    Help choosing the right vehicle

This is true. I have a 5x10 utility trailer that I tow with my wife's diesel Touareg, but I don't see it ever getting close to the 7500 lb capacity. On a related note, I do wish the Ranger had a factory integrated brake controller like the the Colorado. EDIT: added a couple pics

    Help choosing the right vehicle

As an owner of a 2020 Ford Ranger, I'd like to add my perspective. My family has always been a GM truck family. My last truck was a 1999 GMC Sierra. I had decided, without driving, that I thought I wanted a ZR2. I love the looks and capability of the truck. I mainly do beach driving, but...

    New Bronco

I'd be curious to know what is different other than tuning. Do they have different cams? Different pistons/rods (material, cast vs. forged, compression ratio, etc)? Intake manifold runners designed with torque in mind? There is plenty of information about how the Rangers 2.3 is based off the...

    New Bronco

I've had these thoughts as well. Supposedly, their electronics are a nightmare for swap integration, though. :(

    New Bronco

You can buy the motor and controller pack from Ford Performance. It is based on the 2.3 Ecoboost in the Mustang, not the Ranger/Focus RS/Bronco, though.

'21 Ford Ranger Lariat WHY NOT?

To the OP, I have a 2020 Ranger Lariat (super crew). I specifically wanted a midsize pickup because I don’t like living with a full-size pickup daily. my wife and I have two boys (15 and 6 years old) - one is as tall as me and other is in a booster seat. I would like a little extra cab space...
