SOLD: 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser Expedition Build

There's no built in water tank, but we put a couple tie down points on top of the drawers next to the fridge slide that we used to secure 2 7gal water cans. They're spaced out so the rear most can could be tilted down and used while cooking. Not a great pic, but you can kind of see the setup here.

SOLD: 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser Expedition Build

Update: After going back and forth on selling it vs keeping it, we've ultimately decided to put it back up for sale. A few things to note: It's actually on its 3rd timing belt, not 2nd as mentioned in the original post (didn't count the stock one). Last changed at 182k. I just had the front...

Dual battery question: wiring inverter & accessories

Yeah, everything's been working great since finishing the install. We used the inverter primarily for charging laptops and camera gear on the road, which worked great. The house battery is an X2 Power AGM (group 27) from batteries plus, mounted on its side in a modified Slee 2nd battery tray...

100 Series Land Cruiser - Northbound and Down

Yeah, the 2nd row seats are back in, which have replaced the storage containers. The leather and carpet in the front are in good condition other than a worn spot on the top of the steering wheel, and the left side of the driver's seat has a spot that's worn through to the cushion. I can get...

SOLD: 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser Expedition Build

Thanks! The issue ended up being coil packs. It was hard to diagnose because we could only get off-brand parts down there, and it kept throwing the same codes. We ended up taking it to Toyota in Los Cabos and they ordered OEM coil packs and plugs, which did the trick.

SOLD: 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser Expedition Build

Selling our 100 series cruiser built for full-time overland travel; 217,700 miles. We bought it completely stock from the original owner in October of 2016 with 194k miles and built it out to travel in full-time, which we did for most of 2017. But, we’re back to normal life with full-time jobs...

100 Series Land Cruiser - Northbound and Down

Went with solid rather than cut-outs because I originally planned on installing locking handles, but in the end decided they weren't necessary. However, I will say that with the weight of the drawers fully loaded, the handles I ended up with are great. I'd imagine just having cut-outs would be...

100 Series Land Cruiser - Northbound and Down

Thanks! We found those seat-back organizers on amazon for pretty cheap (kinda last minute). Not sure of the brand, but they work pretty well for holding small stuff that would otherwise just float around (maps, a guidebook or two, camera battery chargers, sat-tracker, etc).
