Soon ill be starting on the trailer conversion. Just did a bit of overdue maintenance, new springs, hub/bearings, u bolts/hardware, axle flip, and went from bald 205/75/15 six ply tires on 5" wheels to Goodyear endurance 225/75/15 ten ply on 6" wheels.

I'd probably go for 285/75/17 or 285/75/18 or 295/70/17. The 285/75/18 would be my top choice, but you may have to trim the fender. Either way, take off steel wheel for the 8x180 bolt pattern in 17/18" are on Craigslist all the time, or sometimes the dealer has good prices through the winter...

I actually was very surprised to see you took Hwy 11 (the north route) from north bay to nipigon rather than Hwy 17 along Lake Superior. To me, that church is on of the very, very (very) few points of interest on that whole 10 hr or so stretch! If you do it again, take Hwy 17, well worth it. And...
