    Post up your drawer/storage system

Don’t think I ever posted this after we added the storage to the side. With the width of the slides and 3/4 inch ply depth we have just enough room for this stuff that is always in the cruiser and no longer need to hunt around for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best roof rack for LC100 with plans for over-the-hood opening rooftent?

Have seen a 100 series that did just this with a soft shell clamshell style tent. I think he had a Gamviti rack. They have adjustable mounting bracket heights and you can also choose an option for "handle"s above the drivers door or longer to go past the rear doors. This would be convenient for...

Basic load bar setup for brief RTT use

My RTT spent about 3 years straight on the LX470 stock roof rails. The rails on mine are rated for 150 lbs while driving and 500 while parked if I recall correctly. Had to dig for this detail from an Australian LX owners manual as it was not in my US owners manual.

    100 Series Family Adventure Rig

I ordered this one for an LC and after I placed my order I messaged the seller to request the perforated sides. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QLYA3XS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I see they now have a black one for the LX's if I did it again I would order the LX and...

    100 Series Family Adventure Rig

Finished up the steering wheel tonight. It’s not perfect as this cover was intended for a Land Cruiser and the diameter is different on the Lexus wheel. Still worth it and a huge improvement over factory with the cracked wood lacquer. I will see how this wears through the summer and may request...

    100 Series Family Adventure Rig

I don’t think it is bad sewing it in place. If anything as tight as I have been pulling the threads it may be more difficult if it was not mounted. Agree about the speakers but still need a new headunit and sub. As much as I hate the thought of a non OEM radio ruining the factory look of the...

    100 Series Family Adventure Rig

Tonight I started on the new Xuji steering wheel leather. Spent about an hour on it and probably have another hour to go. It is not perfect as it is for the Non wood Land Cruiser but it is 100 times better than the cracked and jagged wood. I think there is now a LX470 cover available...

    100 Series Family Adventure Rig

I also replaced the fuel cap since the original was extremely tight to remove. The new cap did not fix that problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
