Had great experiences with my cooper MAXX in 35 x 12.5 x 15, but have always wanted to try the 'skinny' tire approach.
Purchased these kenda's for a decent price, and new 17" wheels, mounted and balanced.
So far no offroad performance to report but they are nice on the road (keeping in mind...
Well, this isn't what you're looking for, specifically I mean what mfg has a kit, because I made my own trailing arm airbag suspension for a trailer I built that I loaded my TJ on to pull with the Ram.
But, I will state that you're most likely going to absolutely love how it rides behind your...
there's a new'ish' class of tire introduced in the past few years called HYBRID. More aggressive than AT but not an MT. Two examples are Kenda Kleever RT (they also make this in a 35 x 10.5 x 17 - tall skinny - which is interesting). Another is a new one by Cooper, the Rugged Trek - sorry I...
I run the MAXX's on my 2006 LJ right now, excellent tire. Having said that, I'm looking into the Kenda Kleever RT (hybrid) in a 35 x 10.5 x 17 for my next set. Skinnier tire but about a similar tread pattern - more aggresive than AT by not all the way to MT.
I've also heard Cooper has a new...
110V unit from harbor freight, plus 1200 watt inverter (good for multiple uses). Runs much slower rpm so should last longer. Had mine for 20 years now, no issues. Albeit use is infrequent. But I like it better than the 12V outlet units that seem to spin uber fast
Had a 'one of a kind' hat, with the letters JEEP embossed on a leather patch on the front (never saw another one like this prior to or since) and set it on the antenna so it wouldn't get stained while I did something on the Jeep. As I set it there, I said to myself -...
I've been running a unit from Harbor Freight (brand is Central Pneumatic 3/4 hp 2 cfm) in both my vehicles now for 15 + years, after installing an inverter that can handle the start-up current surge draw (I think my inverter is 1200 watts). They do a great job, more quiet, run slower, no issues.
Purchased my Tentrax with the specific goal in mind to cross the Rubicon, with my 'camp' in tow. Here's a few short videos of how it went.
