I just use one of those cheap-o foam pads that Z-fold. I guess I have yet to become arthritic enough to need something approaching a mattress to get a good night's sleep; the cot is the massive leap in comfort.

Yes, i'm familiar with your setup - I think anyone reading this thread would be - that was a rather pedantic interpretation of "you". I presume you're asking for product development purposes, not your own use, hence my question.

How much water exactly would you want to carry for this luxo-barge shower system? There are secondary fuel tanks that might offer some ideas for mounting location and capacity.

I’ve used a Coleman Pack-a-way a fair amount, and would recommend them: https://www.coleman.com/camp-furniture/camping-cots/pack-away-camping-cot-with-side-table/SAP_2000036401.html

Apart from the RTT, that FC is sweeeeeeet. I hope so. They need the pressure.

I can’t think of a time when I’ve lost a velcro strap on however many thousands of trail miles I’ve had them on my packs and Jeep - they are always “in use”, wrapped around the webbing they are intended to secure. Which is not to say that sewing/cutting them has no merit whatsoever, but it...

The Velcro wrap method is a popular means of accomplishing the same thing on backpack straps. I use them often, and they work well. There’s really no need to sew anything though - they hold fine as a simple wrap.

I use a no-drill NMO fender mount on my JK, from Topsy I think. It’s mounted on the passenger side ahead of the AM/FM antenna. 99% of the time, I have a Laird B4502N installed. It works great for me.

I have a cargo net across the rear of my JK that I refer to as my "attic". I've found it useful on a number of occasions.

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

6 months ago I would have been on that top in a heartbeat. Now, I have an (expensive) new hard top on my Jeep that I’m unwilling to cut apart in the near future. I‘m sure it’ll sell in no time.

I use my Tailgater a _lot_ - it's a nearly permanent fixture - and keep it stowed inside my (2 door) JK. The rattling occasionally crops up if it isn't stowed "just so", but I don't find the size to be an issue at all. That said, I also never have a back seat installed.

The brown looks better against the red to me, but I'd prefer the black against my Jeep's silver. That said, I'm just fine with the status quo - I have several OO products already installed and that brown doesn't bother me one whit.

I’ve seen a hitch hammock used on a Jeep. I’m sure they aren’t the only brand selling that idea.

They are legal, but they must be painted according to their contents if they’re flammable (red=gas, yellow=diesel, blue=kerosene), and have CARB-compliant spouts. I carry a regular “donkey **********” spout despite the regs. Green/brown is usually used for water here, due to the kerosene reg, and is...
