    Winnebago EKKO

The Ekko market seems somewhat similar to the Tiger Adventure Vehicle market. I would think the Tigers would do a bit better on rough roads, but price/size is somewhat similar.

    2 Portland, OR finds: Fuso 4x4 w/camper ($80K) and 2015 Malayan TIGER 4×4 ($136K)

Hi, I spoke with the seller and confirmed the Tiger is in Vancouver BC Canada. I was also confused by the craigslist maps. Bill

    2 Portland, OR finds: Fuso 4x4 w/camper ($80K) and 2015 Malayan TIGER 4×4 ($136K)

    2003 Cruiser 4x4 Motorhome

Zip, thanks for the reply. It looks like a nice coach, but I’m not comfortable with having 2 different rim sizes. If the bolt patterns are the same, why is it different than stock? Ideally it would have a SRW setup (if possible), same rims/ tires all around. I’d also like to know who did the...

    2003 Cruiser 4x4 Motorhome

Hello, this looks like an interesting rig, but I have a few questions for the experienced 4wd mechanics/converters out there. I watched the video, and then called the seller, and this rig was converted to 4Wd, using a Dana 60 front diff. He is running 17" rims up front, and 16" rims (duallys)...

    EarthCruiser Overland Vehicles

The website looks great; bright pictures, good information on the models, and a nice Q&A section. I also like the comments and pictures from current owners. It seemed easy enough to navigate and find what I wanted. I’ll be checking back to read the news updates, I like reading the articles...

Pop top or hard side dilemma

I think the ATW Warrior sells optional hard panels for the upper section of their pop top, and the panels can be removed and the top dropped for shipping. Seems like a good idea, not sure how many versions have been produced in the US. Bill

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

Import duties, etc Howard, the camper looks great and should serve your needs quite well. It looks Like Overland Explorer did another great job. I was curious if there were any import duties on the camper as you brought it back to the States? Any issues or hassles at the border? Also, were...

Fuso FG maintenance compared to typical US diesel pickup

How is your Fuso registered (like a regular truck, commercial, etc.), and was it difficult to arrange the insurance? Thanks for the good info, Bill

Fuso FG maintenance compared to typical US diesel pickup

Good comments, thanks. I would probably end up with a newer Fuso, but if I could find a good pre ULSD I would certainly consider it. I would also be going the RV insurance/title route, though when I first purchase the chassis it might be an issue. I guess I could form a company and "it" could...

Fuso FG maintenance compared to typical US diesel pickup

Hello, I am curious about the repair and mainenance costs of a Fuso FG as compared to a typical US pickup, such as an F350 or F550 sized truck. The Fuso is appealing for its gross weight capacity, factory 4wd, cabover engine access, and short size. Fuso builds seem to be in the 20' range...

    New FG in the USA

Discovery Camper to the USA Jonturgeon brings up an interesting concept regarding importing a camper box from afar, and fitting it to a local Fuso. I looked at the Discovery website and indeed it is an interesting looking camper. I like the floor plan with the bed that stows away yet easily...
