    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

Great distinction on the suspension differences, I forgot to mention that. And I like to deadlift, so my glutes are a natural phone book when I sit.

    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

I have a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon with stock suspension and have had 35" Falken Wildpeak M/T tires on AEV wheels for 45k miles (50k miles total). ~5k-7k miles have been on dirt/forest roads or off-roading. I used to take it off-roading, then car camping, and have worked up to a few week-long...

    Gladiator Rubi vs Gladiator Mojave

Those Gladiator specs aren't uniform across all trims or transmissions. The Mojave and Rubicon have a ~1,200lb payload and 7,000lb tow capacity. The manual transmission reduced the towing to 4,000lbs.

Time to buy a Gladiator? $20k off MSRP’s!

Headroom and cabin comfort is my largest complaint with the Gladiator. I'm 6'3, and my head simultaneously hits the hard top and rests against the sound bar, even with the seat all the way down. I removed the sun visor to see out of the windshield. Even then, I find myself craning my neck down...

My DIY Portable ARB Air Compressor

The compressor has a built in pressure switch that triggers at 150psi. The aluminum box helps with heat dissipation, and I have not taken temperature readings beyond touching it with my hand to get an idea if I can stow it or not. As for noise, it's not an issue for me. It would have been...

My DIY Portable ARB Air Compressor

Hello, fellow adventure travelers. Below is a quick overview of my portable ARB air compressor build. I've had this compressor for eight years and it was hard-mounted in my first two Jeeps. On my third build, I wanted a customizable solution wherein my Jeep isn't always burdened with my off-road...

    NMBDR by Land Rover

Thank you for the trip report. Do you have any information on the technical sections that you bypassed? What about water crossings? I'm planning to run the NMBDR between Christmas and New Year's. From the videos I've seen, there were quite a bit of flooded roads to contend with.

Moab Family Jeeping & Hiking- With Bacon!

Thank you! It's funny how playing in the dirt is almost an instinct all kids have. And it's cheaper than a Playstation! That's a unique Thanksgiving idea! How many family members partake in the event? I love bad weather. When I got my license I used to seek out summer storms to drive through...

Moab Family Jeeping & Hiking- With Bacon!

Hey, guys! I took my family to Moab and spent the week exploring. We stayed at a cabin in the Moab KOA (gasp!) and had an absolutely fantastic time. We originally planned to camp but the weather turned sour at the last minute and my wife and I didn't want to risk the kids getting sick. At Arches...

Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route By Jeep & Ram Rebel

Because the idler pulley blew the serpentine belt came off. I was at highway speeds going uphill with a full load in 3rd gear. With no cooling the engine temp shot up almost instantly, but warning lights did go off. It took me an eighth of a mile to pull over and stop (no power steering). By...

Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route By Jeep & Ram Rebel

The first section we took, from Ouray to Lake City, had us traversing Corkscrew Pass, California Pass, and Cinnamon Pass. All three are basically gravel roads. Even when wet the passes weren't slippery, the ground hard and compacted. This is the most scenic portion of the route. Lake City to...

Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route By Jeep & Ram Rebel

Thank you for watching. I enjoy producing videos as much as the going on the trip itself. We wanted to start in the Four Corners but didn't have enough time allotted for the trip to do so. My favorite section was between Buena Vista and Gypsum. It felt the most secluded and had more forest to...

Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route By Jeep & Ram Rebel

Hey guys! I'm excited to finally share one of my adventures with you. My trip was in October but it took me until now to finish my video. The Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route (COBDR) is a 675-mile pensive tour through Colorado. It’s like the Baskin Robbins of adventure travel- you flavor...

Anyone make anything like the Camp Cover tool bag?

Check out Atlas46.com. They have a Yorktown KOH tool roll that's meant to carry a toolbox' worth of tools. I'd link to it but my phone isn't cooperating. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

What do you really NEED for overlanding

It's not enough to just have "basic first aid things." You need to learn how to administer that first aid. If your girlfriend gets a nasty snake bite you don't want to be flipping through the first aid pamphlet that came with your kit trying to figure out what to do. Sent from my SM-G860P using...
