    Square Body Suburban Info

If I go the burb route, then I will deffenitly get barn doors. My parents had one of these growing up. I do remember how heavy that thing was. I thought about the GMT400 but I really have no experience with IFS suspensions and pricing a solid axle swap, I was at 4k without the axle. Kind of...

    Square Body Suburban Info

Actually read that entire build thread yesterday. I was really just looking at MPG for research purposes. Compare and contrast with other potential platforms. The 6.0 LS swap was an idea I was actually looking at. I have 2 other on going bigger projects so not trying to dive that deep of the...

    Square Body Suburban Info

Yes, barn doors are a must. One of my criterias for my next 4x4 is that it must have a solid axle. Kind of why I have discounted newer burbans. Also, want something a little older. Majority of work required I can do myself except for heavy fab work. Thanks for everyones replys so far. Looking...

    Square Body Suburban Info

Working on classic cars has yielded its fair share of wiring nightmares. Wipers I can live with because my JK's aren't that great either. Headlights, I would look at an LED route. I currently have trucklites on my JK and absolutely love them. The A/C thing might be a problem, but neither of my...

    Square Body Suburban Info

Going to ask the question: What are you looking at MPG wise? 17mpg I can deal with, My old WJ on 35's got 9mpg on the highway and that got rough. I have the tools and ability to regear if needed.

    Square Body Suburban Info

Hi all, I have not posted here in a while but looking at getting a square body suburban for my next offroad rig so looking for some info. I currently have a 2014 2 Door JK and with an expanding family, I need something bigger. As of now, the 1973–1991 year range of Suburbans are what I am...

    WTB: M416 NOVA/MD

Looking for a M416 Trailer in the NOVA/MD area. Would be willing to drive a couple hours for one to. Not looking for anything fancy, maybe even a builder as long as I can tow it back to my house.

anyone run a 2 2Door Jeep JK for overlanding?

I have had my 2 door for a couple of years but have only really taking out this last year. Its generally just me and it works, would work for a +1 to. Add a kid and I would say trailer or roof rack. The only thing I want to change about mine is a low buck platform set up. Store gear underneath...

    JL interior pictures and layout

Maybe one day I will come around, but I am not gaga over the new JL. Looks to techy for me, the push to start is not something I am a fan of either. Kind of wonder what the base JL's will look like interior wise, mainly if it will be a base radio or if they will keep the LCD Uconnect for all models.

    Keeping it simple

$200 for both axles! 1 Set of JK Gears is that! I do agree with doing things yourself. I have done everything myself except mount my tires. If I could fab, then I probably would have fabricated a rear bumper, I do like the looks of AEV plus the price was great so I would have bought that...

    Keeping it simple

I have wanted an RTT but I have decided against it due to having 2 dogs that like to do potty runs in the early AM. I have a 2 door so sleeping inside is possible just won't be the most comfortable. Even with a 4 door I could see a problem when the whole gang comes along. Resisting the urge to...
