If they utilize the full GAWR (front and rear) that will exceed GVWR- there is always some safety factor built in when axles are selected. Ideally the tires will match or at least be close to the GAWR but ultimately the rear should be weighed and compare to the load limit on the tires. Of course...
You can use coosa panels and either upholster or apply a solid surface laminate for your finished walls. Bond them to the studs with either a mma adhesive or 3M 5200. You could even skin them with a wood veneer if you like that look more, I would recommend a 3/8" or 1/2" panel thickness.

100% - disassembly is not as simple as undoing the 24 bolts, you still have to break the bead. It truly is wrestling with a 200lb filthy thing. Leave tire spoons are needed as well, that or heavy equipment.

No sure on exact temp but I would guess around 120*f which a white surface can definitely hit in direct sunlight. We use diab divinycell pvc and pet foam for our shells.

I know how much time and energy these builds take and I have to admit I cringe everytime I see one using polystyrene foam (xps or eps). It can work as a core but the skins need to be very thick. What happens is when the structure is heated (ie: left in the sun) the foam out gasses and causes the...
Something else to consider is that chopped mat has a binder in it that dissolves in styrene (poly/vinyl ester resin) and wets out and conforms nicely. Switching to epoxy I think you will find it harder to wet out and more difficult to work the air out and get it to lay down. Although more...
No problem! Yes, take me foiling, I've done it a few times but could always use more practice, give a call or text when you're in the hood, would love to grab a beer with you Wade.

Checkout lonseal products. They have some good looking and extremely durable "plank" looking vinyl options. Not super cheap as I recall but nothing worth a damn seems to be these days...

I believe that you can add the beads through the valve stem and not have to split the rim. I'm sure that is not the case for all beads (airsoft bb's will not go through a valve stem) but the ones that are sold for dynamic balancing specially should.

We can build our campers in any length up to a 16' floor. For a shorty (6'-7' floor) the shell insulated with Windows and basic wiring would come in around 600 lbs. Check out our website:
www.Bahncamperworks.com and email or pm me if you have any questions.

I went with Poly vision dual pane acrylic windows that are top hinged and open to just shy of 90*. They are very high quality and reasonably priced when purchased in volume. That said I have a few spares if you are interested PM me and I'll send you the sizes, prices and some pic's. I am also...
I have some Stazworks double bead locks with the conti MPT81's on my Dodge 2500. The wheels are nice, tires are nice but I think the insert doesn't fit very well. I know that when they shipped them John was up in arms because they had such a hard time getting the tires on the rim with inserts...
