What cool things are powered from your upfitter (aux switches)

The SwitchPros platform lets you configure your switches to flash your lights. I set my a-BD XL80s and S2s to strobe when I double tap the switches. Might save you to the hassle of installing specific lights for it.

Any 99-03 Ford Superduty Trucks of Expeditions running ARB Lockers?

My 03 7.3 is at the shop right now getting 06 axles, 4.30s, and ARBs front and rear. Can’t report on performance just yet, should have it back in the next couple of days.

Great White Buffalo - 2000 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke

A good maintenance item is your UVCH (under valve cover harness). They get brittle and break or short out over time, leaving one (or both) banks not firing. Not a great thing to have happen miles from town. As for upgrades, my mindset was similar to yours, I did my build for simple, reliable...

What cool things are powered from your upfitter (aux switches)

My Switch Pros in my F250 has the following: 1: BD LP6s (on order) 2: BD XL80s on A-pillar 3: open 4: BD S2 backup lights 5: open 6: ARB twin compressor 7: ARB front locker 8: ARB rear locker Will most likely use 3 and 5 for more lights, possibly a backup camera.

    Big50's 2017 F250 Build

Did you regear or are you still running stock 3.55? I finally got my 37s on (37x13.50r17 Toyo MT), and have been thinking of going to a 4.10 or possibly 4.30.

    Big50's 2017 F250 Build

Still really liking your truck. You inspired me to go with the Icon, I got a great deal over Black Friday on a stage 2 kit. I ordered a Carli track bar as well, so I’ll have a stage 3 equivalent. Everything should be here by the end of the week, so I’m hopeful for a Saturday install...

    Big50's 2017 F250 Build

Good looking truck. I just sold my ‘15 6.7 and picked up a ‘17 6.7 last weekend. I’m about to pull the trigger on a Carli 2.5” kit for mine, is there a reason you went with the Icon setup over Carli? Hoping to find a good Black Friday deal this next week if possible. I’ll be putting my...

    One Spice?

Jane's Krazy Salt or Steamboat Bill's (a variation of Tony's) are my go-to's.

Switching my life to "not Jeans". Can I get some recomendations for good NON JEANS

I wear variations of the Duluth Fire Hose pants at work every day (construction PM), several fire hose flex, several dry-on-the-fly, one pair of cool-dry fire hose flex. Absolutely the best non-jean pants I've worn in terms of durability, can't recommend them enough. I've also got a couple...

F250: New or Old, which would you choose?

It sure was, TBH is the only site I frequent more than ExPo. I don't mind scratching up the 15, I'm just worried about all the news emissions, sensors, and computers on it failing in the middle of nowhere. I'm searching for an Excursion now, but having trouble finding a decently priced one...

F250: New or Old, which would you choose?

I agree, but the issue I have with my truck is the length. After dragging this thing around brush and trails for years, I've realized that I'd like something shorter. Since I've got the camper shell on, and the other truck, I don't use the 7.3 bed anymore as a truck bed, so I won't miss it...

F250: New or Old, which would you choose?

I'm leaning towards the 7.3, but I've been tossing the idea around of selling the truck and finding a 7.3 Excursion to start with instead. Any thoughts on this?

F250: New or Old, which would you choose?

To be honest, I've thought about selling the 7.3 for the last few months and getting a truck exactly like yours. I've always wanted a single cab for the shorter length and wheelbase and I'd love to get a coil sprung front end. The problem is they're all so expensive here in Texas.

F250: New or Old, which would you choose?

Thanks for the insight everyone. This is the question I keep going back to. I've used the 02 as an all-around rig and DD for a while, so I've kept it fairly mild in terms of a build, but it's covered in scratches from South Texas mesquite and hail dents on every panel, so it dropped in value...
