I guess that's one way of thinking. I'm fully nomadic and work online, but I prefer to work less and play more most of the time. I've always had excellent luck with older trucks. Drove my '78 Toyota from Alaska to Portland and all around the PNW last year without a hitch. Drove 20+-year-old Ford...

Love it! It's just recently occurred to me what a smart idea it is to pair a slide in with a service body...I'll probably get the same truck, too, just ten to twenty years older!

But what if we're shopping in the 20+ year old domestic 4x4 price range...

Has anyone factored biodiesel/svo/wvo conversion into the equation? I'm a bit ambivalent, basically, I guess I'd take either if otherwise it fit what I want and the price was right...but most of what I'm finding in my price is diesel. I'm fully nomadic, so I'd have to have an onboard set-up...
