Tie rod ends, sway bar end links, and maybe upper control arms (if needed)
———————-
I ended up not needing control arms because the truck I was buying, the seller backed out after he liked what the PPI turned up. Thanks for basically stealing $200 from me a**hole.
Some great info in this thread guys. Good to know the aftermarket hardware is ********, I’ll go OEM.
Sounds like the Meyle HD with OEM hardware are the move, with Range Rover Sport being a good option too but at some more cost.
I bet that Superpro bushing kit is nice too.
Indeed they do... Looks like they are about $110 each + ship from UK. They are listed for LR3 only... wonder why the LR4 has different part number.
LR028249NB
LR075993NB
I had full Superpro set on my Defender 90 and LOVED them.
I am very much considering this way to go.. I just wish they sold arms without bushings for them to go into. My fear is I buy the Superpro setup plus Lemforder ball joints plus new hardware which is about $300. Then we go to pull old...
Buying an LR4 that needs a new set of control arms. 100% doing the entire arms, not just bushings. Definitely doing new hardware.
What are the best quality aftermarket replacement arms? Looking to do light off roading and beach, mostly street and highway. Would prefer something that will last...
Thanks
Called them back this morning to say I will buy it and someone else bought it. The saga continues....
I really appreciate you guys posting trucks up... but would it be possible to PM them to me? I know it sounds crazy but the market is super competitive and poachers watch these threads...
It's got a bunch of issues including broken rear moonroof, missing rear seat etc. I shopped around for quotes of getting just that fixed and its a couple grand at least.
For a guy looking for an off roader is seems like a good truck. I am looking for a clean road tripper for the family.
