We leave for Disneyland next week so I've been scrambling to get some knives done so we have some spending money. It's been a blur. A trio of Camp Knives in 1095 /15n20 Twist Damascus. A pair for a father and son. Walnut scales, white liners, brass pins. Maple Burl, black micarta pins...

Not to mention the ability to remove the top and doors on the Jeep makes for fun summer driving and wheeling.

I've had both, a 2013 Tacoma 4 door TRD and a 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Both were great rigs but I would choose the Jeep again over the Toyota. The Wrangler is a more capable machine offroad and with a very inexpensive 2.5" lift can run 35's. The Tacoma takes a lot more time and money...

So yesterday, my Mom and Daughter wanted to go for a ride so I took them to the top of Pelican Butte in So. Oregon. It is just under 9000' at the top, great views all around.

My wife is heading back East to visit her sister for a week so I get to drive the wheels off of "her" Rubicon. I dropped her off at the airport (70mi from home) at 4:30am and took the scenic routes back home... Loving this Jeep. I did see a few wild horses but didn't get very good pictures...
