Ok you have convinced us you’re not a overlander. Lots of people don’t like that label. But how can a dog lover go back to climbing big mountains and do international travel with two dogs that you love so much? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those old NGS Magazines inspired a lot of future explorers. Also awakened interest in the opposite sex for a lot of young boys. Well today is March 1 and very “lamb like” here in Western Colorado. Looks like we may see 60s next weekend. I’m more than ready for it. Sent from my iPhone using...

That expression in Trappers eyes says a lot. It’s clear she expects “dad” to make her well. So glad you could. Sounds like you’re planning to finally get that cabin......but on wheels. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Been on a road trip myself. Stayed at KOFA for a few days then Swansea ghost town a few more. Followed in Jerry’s tire tracks for a day or two. I’m really enjoying your early days reporting but always glad to see you come back to current events. I’ve experienced several storms like that last...

Trapper sounds a lot like Tanner. Could be confusing for both dogs. I don’t like a single syllable names for a dog. When calling your dog at a distance I believe two syllables carry further. Like TANN - ERR. Or in my case KENN - DAHH. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m heading down to SW Arizona soon. Your warm sunshine photos make we want to leave NOW but I have a commitment on Friday. I agree Maggie is alright but she needs a name that says adventure. She’s a cutie! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I believe most dogs, particularly the hunting breeds, instinctively know the difference between city lights and star light. She probably already knows she’s a lucky dog. I am sure the three of you will have wonderful adventures together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The key word when choosing a good site is FAR. But I’m often telling people I’m traveling with who are searching for the “perfect site” for only one night is this. “We are only renting, not buying.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jerry your doing a great service picking up trash. But I draw the limit at human waste. I’ll bury it if my shovel is handy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I rarely camp without picking up someone else’s trash. I sure don’t think of it as a fools errand. But I have stopped at a few spots that were so trashed up I just grit my teeth and moved on. I’m limited at what I can carry out too. Just keep it up Jerry. We all have your back too. [emoji106]...

Always neat to see how other full timers do it. Used to be they were pretty scarce and being so most were easy to talk to. But I did run into a few crabs too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Retired Ol’ Farts crew will be down in KOFA starting February 9. You ought to join us and show us around some of those neat spots you found on this trip. I enjoyed your trip report. Alan (aka Ace) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
