Well, put a grid on the sides and got the brushguards located.
Had my local fab shop cut them out with their laser table. I was pretty impressed, $18+tax a side.
I think that will work.
Double checking clearance to make sure the winch controls will clear the tube.

Parts for Rangers are more available than most, fuel tanks vary because they changed over the years, EFI ones are pretty available. Different wheelbases obviously have different tanks too. I suspect most trucks of that vintage will be similar.
For a noob owner, I would recommend 90-97. They...
It doesn't take much anymore. Snag the wiring for a wheel speed sensor on a stick and poof, your Jeep just lost 4wd and cruise control. In the wrong area losing 4wd isn't far from losing everything.
But if they had effective charging at home would they be using a public charger in a blizzard?
If I had a fuel barrel at home I wouldn't be waiting in line at a gas station in a blizzard...
I had thought about doing something similar with the winch, probably would have been easier when it is all said and done too.
I ran that later overflow/washer jug for awhile too, it didn't fit with the cruise control servo when i added cruise though.
If you think you hate it now wait until you drive one.
I drove a new Colorado a little while ago at work, the stealth bomber tribute stamped into the hood was a tad ridiculous.
In the uk for popularity they were similar to the gm LS. They were common, compact footprint, lightweight, made good power and were easily swapped around in the uk before rover bought the design.
My point was the rover wasn't a very good comparison because rover kind of did the equivalent of...
Rover bought the engine, if something needed changed like exhaust routing they just yell down the hall and engineering redesigns the exhaust.
Higher rpm isn't bad if the engine is built for it. Compact V8's of the day were not really torque monsters qnd most were heavier anyway.
The...
The Buick/rover v8 is kinda different. They were popular for swaps and modifying in the uk because of their small size and light weight before rover acquired the design... much like the ls in the us and for that matter the sbc that proceeded it.
And they used the design for 40 years but Rover...
