For the pass few years been looking for a 'nice' World War II military Bantam T3 to use for carrying camping gear. Nice ones command a premium price and are restored to military specs. It'd be a shame to hack-up one of those, so instead I purchased a reproduction tub and frame. Spent the last few weeks researching and purchasing parts and converting the tongue and coupler.

The weld-on 50 degree 2" receiver type A-frame bracket was purchased from Adventure Trailer and cut down to match the geometry of the T3. The two tongue rails bolt to the T3 frame using the same holes and hardware as the original.

Just curious, where did you find a reproduction tub and frame?

I took a look at their Facebook pages. Seems like a quality product.

How did you import it from the Philippines?

Nice looking trailer!
What is the plan of attack?
Matching wheels and tires?
Color matched paint?
Keep us posted.

You got it, nothing special, just a box to carry camping gear. No outside of the box add-ons, like the clean lines of the 1/4 ton military trailers.
Matching wheels and paint to go with our Rubicon Unlimited. Have all the parts now, except wider fenders and max coupler.
Will build a Flip lid out of Starboard with a rail system to carry Bikes or a Canoe.
No plans for a RTT, instead we'll carry camping gear in the trailer so we can sleep inside our JK Unlimited.
.
Daughter wants it ready by the 4th of July to enter it in the local parade.
She wants to tow it with Rubicon and fill the trailer with hot water, bubbles and High School cheerleader friends.

I was watching a made in Pennsylvania TV show last night and saw an original film clip of the Bantam plant in Butler Pa.
On the film was a shot of hundreds of the Bantam trailers lined up on their backs being assembled. Look the same as the pictures of your build. "They lost the contract on the Jeep, but won the trailer contract"

As your daughter idea, I am using my 101A2 in the local Christmas parade.
Great build keep posting your progress!

Been real busy at work and looked forward to escaping into the realm of the garage and work on the Trailer... but...
.
Sometimes it seems the only luck I have is Bad Luck.

Two weeks ago I was going around and around figuring out the exact right axle measurements and then ordered the axle directly from Dexter. They caution me that it's non returnable, no problem I'm confidant of my measurements.
.
Received the axle, measure and test fit it, all looked good except the crappy tar like paint on it. Spend a quick hour or so sanding the bad paint off and start sanding the area between the spring brackets and end plates. On one side my sander fits between the two but on the other side it doesn't... ******... Get out the yard stick and sure enough Dexter welded both the spring brackets exactly one inch off center, to one side.
