Looks like he may have been shipped a return item.

The gray lidded ones are the ones that I mentioned that had the hinged lid. I've never seen the other ones before.

Here is a link with the 24 gallon pictured and right below it is a section with 4 buttons for a 48, 35, 24, & 8 gallon boxes. If you hover over the box with the size you want it shows a picture of it.

Walmart has them in the auto and tool departments. I bought two big ones from Amazon a couple of years ago to mount on my trailer.

Got most of our 6 Action Packers at Ace Hardware, the smaller two at Walmart. Work well for us but they are what we started with and I guess we may not know any better!!!! T&E

Spressomon's link had me poking around at the Container Store.

This is pretty interesting

Load up! The large capacity Stor-It-All Trunk has a voluminous 42 gallons of storage space. The strong, sturdy construction features a heavily reinforced lid and bottom, and will accommodate up to a 225 pound load on its two rear wheels. The trunk itself is surprisingly lightweight when empty. The fully removable lid is secured with two lockable handles. With all these attributes, it's a remarkable value. There are few things this trunk can't handle. It's perfect for traveling and recreation: camping, boating or the RV. It's a natural for storage of out-of-season clothes, seasonal decorations like Christmas ornaments or sports equipment.

I have the 48gallon AP cargo box. it is the only action packer I will use. the rest are just to flimsy IMO where the cargo box is very well designed.

Thats GSC looks pretty tight though.

My dad recently bought a bunch of these to store stuff in and he loves them I am considering 2-3 myself. they stack far better than action packers and would possibly make things more organized.

I went out to the container store and picked up that container I linked to. It is much bigger than a 24 gallon AP. This one has wheels and does not stack well. The lid is more off a "shoe box" style with a good overlap, so it would probably keep the rain out, but would not float for long. The handles are like an AP, but are a bit easier to close than the AP. The lid is not double layered like an AP, but has a grid system underneath, so it is plenty sturdy.

You would not want to put much heavy stuff in this one, it is big. We needed it to put some specific clothing bags into.

The 20 gallon water proof water (spressomon's post) is also sturdy. I like that the flip over lock down handles on that model are metal.

If anyone could measure the bolting pattern on the bottom. I need t weld up a platform for it, and need to know where the bolt will be. I heard there is a specific place to bolt them down. This is for the 48 gallon AP from walmart. I have it ordered but wont be here for a few days.
