Well done all! It's been really fun seeing the evolution thus far. Cannot wait to see it on big 41" tires. Are you going Conti MPT or Goodyear G275MSA?

Cont. MPT 81. Already purchased. Before the price increases and only 6 months since manufacturer. The shortest, narrowest, tire with the load capacity required. What I would really like is a 37” tire with a 5,000 LB or greater capacity.

Picked the camper up today for the LONG trip home. We depart WA for GA tomorrow. Rides and handles very well. A little off-roading at the OAT shop. Box articulates on the subframe as designed. I will be building some form of subframe rebound system down the road. A little noisy rebounding onto the UHMW. May start with a HD poly or silicone pad between the spring mounts.

Next stop….Buckstop!

Cheers!

looks great! Do you think the springs are adequate stiffness?

THANKS!

There will have to be some dialing in of spring rates after the build out…for sure?
For the trip home these springs will work
fine.

Thanks man! Kind of like looking in the mirror for you! THANKS again for the build thread and videos! Helped a BUNCH!

Everyone said we did not need the supports with just a 4’ overhang. Can always add them later if we just want them for off-roading.

STOKED! Cheers!

No need. In theory we don't even need them on our bigger cab overs.... But we always like to be pro active and avoid possible issues in the future.... Who knows, the next owner may transform the bed area into his beer storage and races the Baja 1000....

Buckstop…..stop.
The guys at Buckstop could not have been nicer! The snowing and windy weather was no fun to deal with so they cleared a place in their shipping bay so we could pull in and load up. Our order was ready to go and set aside. The crew helped load and were VERY CAREFUL around our new habitat.
LOTS of questions?

1 bumper, 5 steel wheels, 3 skid plates, a track bar relocation bracket, 2 fender flares and all the hardware loaded for the trip home.

It drives great with the extra weight of the Buckstop steel! SMOOTH!
Cheers!
