Selling my very clean, slightly used 2021 Summit with key upgrades.

Base features and specs can be found here:

https://missionoverland.ca/models/the-summit/

Options on this trailer include the spare tire carrier, front rack, 270 degree awning, and second propane tank. I’ve also added a few key upgrades that were lacking for my needs on the Summit. The first is a customized Front Runner rack which really expands the gear hauling capability (bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, recovery gear, etc). It includes four adjustable crossbars and is mounted in the gap between the interior roof and exterior edge of the clamshell so there are no interior roof penetrations. The second is an upgraded power system which has been completely upgraded with a Renogy MPPT controller, two Renogy 100ah AGMs, Renogy 2000 watt pure sine inverter, 2-100 watt Renogy flexible solar panels mounted to the roof, and a Noco Genius 2 battery charger. The third is an Ark XO jack which makes maneuvering the trailer much easier.

I absolutely love this trailer but we are changing things up a bit and building a Sprinter 170 EXT 4x4 for longer haul four season trips with the wife and dogs.

This is a very clean trailer that has been stored in my climate controlled garage when not in use. It’s a great deal for someone looking for some key aftermarket upgrades to an almost new Summit at a price point less than a new 2022 (I believe they are now around $43-44K with the spare, front rack, extra propane tank and 270 degree awning). I have about $3K in the additional upgrades not counting my labor.

Looking for $37,500 obo. Located in SLC, UT. Will consider delivery within a reasonable distance.

Did you get rid of the Wifco charging system?

No, it’s all still in tact. I just use the Noco when charging in my garage as using the Wifco trips the GFCI in my garage (common issue with new GFCI requirements in garages).

The WIFCO was a bad move by MO.

I agree, better options out there for true off grid use. I just basically ignore it’s there. If I were to keep the trailer I’d probably take out the WIFCO unit, add a 12V fuse box and just use that space for more storage since I have all my power bases covered for my needs with my other upgrades. That or move to a REDARC Redvision system. It works just fine on non-GFCI and does serve a purpose if someone will be hooking up at an RV park from time to time or charging from a non-GFCI RV plug at home which is why I left it in.

That said, it hasn’t impacted my overall view of the trailer at all, really love it…just not quite what we need with two adults and three dogs for 1-2 week trips with lots of gear. It’s been the ultimate solo long weekend mountain biking base camp though!
