Selling my 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad so that my family and I can move into a Class B RV. We don’t do as much off-grid camping with a 2.5 year old so my rig is up for sale. I bought this truck off ExpeditionPortal about 4 years ago and have substantially changed the vehicle since then. True mid-travel suspension, 3 way adjustable coilovers, alu cab camper shell, hardshell RTT, and more. This truck can truly support you offgrid for as long as your food and water can sustain you, or it can be driven as a daily driver because of the considerable amount of planning and execution of parts. Inside the camper shell I have wired up charging stations on both sides of the full-length doors so you can charge electronics. Quick release hose adapter has been installed into the decked system for showering or rinsing off. Front bumper has a quick release air hose adapter for the ARB compressor to air up after wheeling. Hardshell RTT opens in seconds for a great sleeping arrangement. Solar charges both the starting battery and aux battery with ease. The camper shell was swapped out for Alu Cab’s to support the weight on a hardshell tent plus humans. Most people run the fiberglass shells without problems but I didn’t want to risk anything. The tent only has about 10 total nights in it.

The Good: Most of the major upgrades have been done within the last 12 months. This includes exhaust, suspension, tires, tent, camper shell, fridge, onboard water, drawer system, big brake kit (100 miles), and injectors/spark plugs. Tires only have 10k miles on them. There should not be anything needed mechanically nor overland-based.

The Still-Needed: Rock sliders are showing rust. They need to be stripped and re-painted. The onboard water system was installed last week and has not been plumbed yet. The water pump and all electrical controls are installed. Just need to run the pex plumbing from the water tank to the water pump.

The truck has 140,xxx miles currently with absolutely no issues.

Here are a few of the exhaust that was just installed. Full stainless steel with high floor resonators. Completely street legal, very quiet.

Thanks! A ton of time went into the build, but things change when you have a kid [apparently] so we’re looking for the next rig that suits us.

Trust me I know. Wife due with second. I’m looking at selling some toys not because I have to but just simplify life while 2nd kid makes it more complex. Bought a triple locked LC 100 with Roof Top Tent and debating selling because I know won’t use for a couple years with new infant.

Good luck with sale.

This is a sweet rig but I can't rationalize a short bed for my useage ? Otherwise it's exactly what I want to do

I went with a short bed build to keep it as nimble as possible in offroad situations. I’m 6’4 so even a long bed I would never be able to sleep in anyways. What would you be doing with it that you need a long bed?

Hey there! A few questions:
- Did ECGS do the needle bearing swap during the regear?
- Was the catalytic converter tampered with at all with the new exhaust?

I’m not positive if they replaced the needle bearing. I would assume they did. I can call and confirm if needed.

Nope—the cats and all O2 sensors are intact. Exhaust is fully legal

I will also consider a trade for a stock'ish SUV of some kind. I need to get a daily driver so if anyone is looking to make the switch let me know!
