Could i trouble you for some pictures of how those rock rails mount? I am planning on picking some up second hand on Saturday. I am thinking i need to put the 6 rivnuts in on each side but also heard something about bolting through the pinch weld?
both, you need the 6 rivinuts on each side and then the 6 bolts per side thru the pinch welds. the bolts that are thru the pinch seams thread into the rock rails. Simple job.

Awesome thank you. Do the pinch seam bolts go through the rock rail then the pinch seam and back into the rock rail? Or just through pinch seam into rock rail?

they go thru the pinch seams and then into the rockrails. when you see them you see they only go on one way. they are a 40lb or so i used a floor jack and jack stands to hold them in place.

Awesome, thanks! 40lbs will be a lot easier to manage then my maple offroad sliders were. Only part that gives me any worry is expanding the rivnuts, i hate those things.

they are simple. if you look under your truck you see the rivnuts go into hex holes so the rivnuts do not spin. just use the tool and torq to like 20-25 ft/lbs Mopar makes a hardware kit for them if you don't already have the hardware.

Sold my 2018 Ram 3500 and got this. Love it so far. 2021 75A PW in patriot blue. Not doing a crazy build but need to get a diamondback cover and will replace shocks in a few thousand miles. Only mods so far are tint, paint protection film and ceramic coating. Oh and the 35” Ridge Grapplers. Rides amazing and tires are dead silent. I was also torn on going with 37s but didn’t feel like re-gearing and despise Rubbing at all.

I love that color, what do they call it? If that were a long bed I'd by the CanBak off of you to run until my flatbed gets here.

The color is Anvil. I must have an addiction to it as it is the second vehicle I've had with it. I picked the softopper up off Craigslist to use until the GFC is ready, it is very useful.
