My new 7 foot wide Northstar Laredo SC taken on the Big Dune in southern NV last week. thumb_DSCN2483_1024.jpgWe ordered it without air conditioning; no microwave; no oven; no TV; no awnings; no backup camera; no entry door window; no rear bumper; sub-zero insulation; Euro View 2X pane windows; 320 watts solar; 12v compressor fridge; 41 gallons water; cassette toilet; no black tank; using the most trusted over time amenities. It is a sleek and simple package with THE most storage of any camper (of the 2 dozen or so new ones we got in and looked at last spring. With 35's and a 3 inch loaded lift, has pretty good angles: approach, breakover, departure.

Hey All,
Just thought I would share our new project rig here. I’ve named it The Puller Project (named in honor of Lewis Puller). Puller is a very rare beast. He’s a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 L Cummins Turbo Diesel with a High Output Motor and a NON-53 engine block. It has that coveted and illusive 6 speed manual transmission. It’s bone stock and unmolsted with only 74k miles on it. Probably one of the rarest ones in the country considering it’s milage. All you diesel heads out there will know what a gem this truck really is. This bad boy will run till the end of the world, which is exactly what we want. If that’s not cool enough, we worked directly with @HiatusCampers to make the worlds first totally custom full-sized Hiatus Camper for Puller (hard wall pop up camper)! We have big plans for the rig, but for now here are some teaser pics & our build thread:

I’m in the Arizona area. If anyone ever wanted to see one of these unique campers in person message me and we can work that out!

Some old shots of our 2002 special order Ford F-350 “0ff-Road” crew cab, 4wd, V10, dually, plow/camper/ambo packages with a custom Lance 1130 hauling our 1994 Samurai. Ford wasn’t offering the off-road package on the f350 back then, but I knew the fleet manager and he got it added. I seem to recall it came with skid plates, shocks and decals. I added Rancho 9000 shocks and airlift bags with compressor and cab controls as well. The crazy thing about that truck/engine/tranny/gearing combo was it 16 mpg with or without the camper.
