2002 Freightliner FL60 4X4 Ambulance.
Runs, drives and operates great.
Unit was purchased from the U.S Federal Government and came from New Mexico.
Cummins 8.3 liter turbo diesel with an Allison automatic transmission.
Complete Meritor axles and transfer case drive train.
108K original miles.
New tires all the way around.
New air bags for suspension.
New king pins on front axle.
Just done a complete lube service on ambulance.
Has air parking brake but hydraulic drive brakes.
CDL not required to drive or operate this unit.
Is 4X4 with air lock front axle and electric transfer case with 4 HI and 4 LOW.
New injector pump, ECM and injectors replaced few months ago by a Cummins dealership.
This ambulance literally drives like a new truck and starts on the coldest of mornings easily.
Clear TN highway title in hand.

It is cool, but it auctioned off for well under 10k, May haven under 5k if I recall correctly.
It got bid up to 13k on eBay then it got pulled down.
Not sure how trustworthy the seller is with it being pulled down right before closing with no reserve then being relisted.

I don’t remember.
When I first saw it posted I searched and found it.
It can’t seem to find it now. Maybe original post expired.
If I come across it again I’ll post up.
It’s a cool truck, but it looks beat up and would need a lot of work in my opinion.
I imagine the ride would be pretty harsh on the highway.

Out of curiosity, anyone have a guess of the MPG on the highway for this type of rig? Or is it gallons per mile?

I’d guess 8-10 mpg
