I don't know if you've heard anything about the leaking 3rd brake light on these trucks, but it's definitely for real, i just noticed a small telltale mark on the headliner right below the light and pulled it off to find the gasket dried out and comprised at the top end, I ordered a replacement gasket and applied a small bead of sealant along the top edge of the gasket to hopefully help ensure no further issues. If you haven't looked at yours yet, definitely keep an eye on it!

Yes I already documented mine was leaking and the housing was full of water

The mounting screws need to be sealed also

This weekend I'll swap manifold and install the ported one

Then I'll look for a deal on the exhaust I want

I am still highly considering the Zone 1.5" body lift with a 2" leveling kit

What is the size of the stock rear leaf spring block on these trucks?

I feel like an idiot not realizing I'd already seen your comment on that earlier...

Custom Splice sells a nice hitch shackle adapter

I've been using one for years on my past 3 trucks and it's held up great

I just installed it on the Silverado

These trucks seem popular with a ton of parts and accessories available......but why doesn't Mag Hytec make a rear diff cover for them?

For the rear axle, if you have the 5.3 or 6.2 V8s, its 2.75 quarts

Rear axle uses the 75W85

The front axle is 1.51 quarts.

Front axle uses 75W90

Ported intake manifold was swapped in today...…….I will try it out tomorrow

Easy swap, just took a long time......I was not in a rush and it took me 3 hours with some breaks
