Installed the 7 litre diesel tank for the planar furnace. Used fiberglass tubing and adhesive as mounting points. now I can connect the fuel line and do a test run.

Current status:
front wall is now cut out as big as possible. Final layout of the electrical compartment ( reconsidering the need for such a big inverter... ) . Cabinets are in place. Bathroom door and flooring next. Then hopefully installing the last couple windows and roof hatches.

You are making fast progress. Will be particularly interested in how you make the bathroom - would be great if a company sold a bathroom kit.

The bathroom is pretty simple to construct. All you need is a set (3) of 1" composite panels. These are simply glued in place with our adhesive. (more details to follow when we are all done). We used a custom entry door without insulation to have a water proof separation from the rest of the interior. A simple roof hatch will get us light and ventilation (pictures to follow). The floor inside the bath is raised to leave room for a Graysons water tank and shower pan. We put this on the back burner as there are too many other details we need to get sorted before the trade show circuit hits us. Please stay tuned for a detailed component list including pricing and sources for everything we used in the Transit camper.

Vic, any idea how much weight you will have on the rear axle when topped off with fuel and water? Will the truck need any modifications to suspension?

These composite cab chassis build with no subframe have lots of payload. I would be the rear axle is under 6klbs loaded.

Will certainly hit the scale when done. So far my estimation is telling me about 1000lb extra capacity when fully loaded.

Could you do a large rear "garage" under a rear fixed bed for mountain bikes and gear? Along the lines of what @atoine did with his Transit van.

Yes of course. We can install any size door at our factory. Those commercial openings (please see picture for reference) would have the same high R value as the panels.
