You still have the tie down available? Where are you located?

I'm interested in the full rack, how was the wind noise with it?

would this fit a 2003 4Runner?
Sorry everyone for the late replies. I didn't get any notifications that there were new posts on this thread.
EDIT: I should get notifications now. Unlike other forums I post in, this one doesn't auto watch with e-mail notifications without manually selecting that option.

The rack will "fit" if you want to purchase new foot rail kit from Front Runner. The reason I say fit in quotes is that the length of the rack for the GX is longer than it is for the 4Runner. The GX460 tray is: 1 x RRSTD10 - Slimline II Tray - 1255mm(W) X 1964mm(L) - by Front Runner. This is the tray for the 4th Gen 4Runner: 1 x RRSTD09 - Slimline II Tray - 1255mm(W) X 1762mm(L) - by Front Runner. The part number for the foot rail kit is: 1 x FATF003 - Toyota 4runner (2002-2008) Foot Rails - by Front Runner. You'll have to contact them to see how much the kit is..

Wind noise was not bad at all with the sunroof closed and the shade for the sunroof closed. But it wasn't as quiet as stock. I could hear it more when I drove through windy sections of the road and there was a cross wind, but still not bad. I was surprised at how quiet it was considering the shape of the rack.

And yes, I'm in Redondo Beach.

Let me know if you're still interested. The rack is still assembled so it'd be much quicker to install.

I have the same rack and the wind noise with everything closed isn't that bad. Some noise at highway speeds, but nothing to be concerned about. The shade does help in reducing noise. However, the sunroof becomes unusable at any speed due to the stock wind deflector channeling the air directly above the sunroof

I would highly recommend adding a larger wind deflector in front of the rack. I added an old Yakima deflector and it has improved noise 1000%. I'm even able to open my sunroof on the highway now, although I can't see much with the rack on. Front Runner sells a specific deflector for this rack, but it's pretty easy to adapt any type.
