Are you putting a flatbed on the Chassis then mounting the camper on that? Side tool boxes?

84 CA service body with Honda 3k genny on slide drawer. Washing machine on slide tray. 80 gal of aux water tanks. 40 gal of aux diesel tank. 1K solar w/ 1440ah of Lifepo4 battery bank. Plan to off-grid and overland North/Central/South America along with Europe and beyond. Power is for running air overnight for sleeping.

Thanks - we're diggin' it :) We'd considered going to a 170ext van but they still do not have nearly the inside space that a TC has.

We sold our van to a friend and he was there mountain biking with us this weekend so we got the opportunity to take a photo of our old rig and the new rig together.
He enjoyed pointing out we got half the fuel mileage that he did coming over the mountains.
I enjoyed pointing out I just took a hot water shower... ?

@Geek - What’s the as built weight of your 10-2? We ordered a 9-6 and stripped it down as far as we could, and ended up heavier than I hoped, but then you always do.517786

That's a good question. Our's is a 10-2 Limited Edition with dry bath and u-dinette. Fully loaded with every option. The manufacturer says the dry weight is 3285lbs. I don't know what it weighs real world - it is on my list of things to check out when I get a chance. My truck has the 14,000lb GVWR payload package - I'm guessing it is close but I really do not know.

The truck handles great and has no problem hauling ******** in the mountains; I'm impressed by the torque the 6.7 diesel has.
I passed a bunch of people going over 11,000ft Berthoud Pass yesterday just for giggles ?
Even kicking it in the pants I averaged 12.5mpg over 6 hours of steep mountain driving - which surprised me!

A couple of photos from this weekend camping over on Lake Granby:

There is a sticker on the right hand side in the coat closet by the door. It will have the actual weight as built.

Just picked up a 2016 Camplite 10 brand new. Getting ready to retire. Previously had a Lance. This is 1400 lbs lighter than my 1050S. What a great find....

Empty weight on this is 2250 lbs. Wet weight is 2950 ish. I could easily put this on a new 3/4 ton. I had two Lances and now my second Camplite. It’s a shame that they stopped producing these units. I hit a low bridge just above the roof line with a Camplite 8.5 and the only damage was to the ac unit and roof vents.

Nice! Show us some interior pics? What does it weigh? You need to get rid of the big Ford sticker before your Dodge takes offence!

I really like this set up, hoping to get something similar in a couple years. Hopefully Northern Lite will still make a premium version of the camper like the limited edition.
