Maybe I'm off on this, but I thought that Frontier we get here in North America was pretty similar to the overseas Navarra, minus the manufacturing location and the availability of the diesel engine.

If Nissan follows through on the rumors floating around (2.8l Cummins), we could very well get the Navarra/Hilux midsized truck that so many of us have been fantasizing about.

The Xterra and Frontier are both highly underrated in the 4x4/overland communities.

Not as versed on Nissans that I am on Toyotas.

Looks like a new platform was introduced in 2014.

100% agree with this. Rented a Frontier once in Jersey. Always been a fan of the exterior... but after renting, I think the interior could use some updating. Overall, though, seemed like a solid truck.

Like the exteriors too, but the interiors feel like it is made from recycled soda bottles. I like my interiors no-non-sense, but that was pushing it.

Had a little break in the freezing temps...near 50º today was able to sneak out for a couple hours. Calm before the storm...work is going to crazy the rest of the week.

Did this thing used to live in Wilmington? When I was in high school like a decade and a half ago, I remember seeing a white, bobbed, SAS Tacoma around town occasionally.

The ROW Navara is **************. There's a model built in part by Arctic Trucks you can buy THROUGH Nissan like you can with AEV Jeeps. F/R lockers, turbo diesel, 5 link rear, etc.

I wish! But as usual America gets shafted. All we get here are dumbed down versions of the built vehicles Europe and Oz has access to. Irritates me to no end.

We had a 05 Frontier. Honestly, it was just as solid if not better than all of my Tacomas. I actually wanted to buy another one but there was only 2 aclb in our area and they were more beat than the tacos. The Frontier is the closest counterpart to it international variant we have here.

It is crazy they redesigned the Navara outside the US and not here. I looked it up. The CCLB gets could but the aclb still has leaf springs.

They have 2 glove boxes!

It's a shame the frontiers are so goddamn ugly. The VQ40 is a great engine, far better than the VG33 ever was.

The Terra looks like the latest version of the Pathfinder had they not neutered it and given it a sex change into the horrid crossover we have now. I like the looks of the Terra, it would look great with a ARB bumper and a lift with some AT’s.
