That is a great looking setup. Did you design and build that yourself? If so, any particular type, tricks, or warnings you have to offer?

All design, fabrication, and wiring was done by myself. Any project no matter how big or small should start with detailed planning and research. Aluminium is expensive compared to wood but thinner material yields equal if not greater strength and longevity. Using thinner material creates more usable space. Aluminium can be cut and shaped using common wood working tools. Planning should account for future changes and be adaptable but don't be constrained by what's easily available use your imagination and build it your way. I'm not the most thorough in documenting my projects but post on Instagram regularly about projects @trecash6850.

Looks great. Only suggestion I'd make is adding a barrier (like the pet/dog ones) between the rear seats and the cargo area - purely as a safety margin so that a loose item (especially in case of an accident) doesn't go flying into your kid.
The top height of the drawers are a few inches below the seat back height. My son's head and body is well inside the car seat and protected from rear impact.
We store everything on top inside front runner bags and haven't had an issue with them sliding around much. I've been running the basic frame in the truck for about a year and haven't had any issues with items coming over. Definitely a good point to mention though and much appreciated but just can't give up the rear access from inside the truck.

Great looking drawers. The aluminium fab work looks fantastic.

I devised a little drawer system for our LR3 using an idea from another thread on here. However, our fridge is at the floor level so we only get one drawer but have a flat platform on the top for storing 'lighter' stuff, like sleeping pads etc. In addition, anything we put on top, I've covered with rated webbing which is secured to the floor anchors.

Anyway, your drawers are fantastic.

Yeah I kinda wish I would have kept the fridge low for center of gravity sake. Thanks.
