That looks really nice for a 26 year old Rover. I assume its got the VM diesel in it. The good thing about the two doors is that you can run the bigger tires without a clearance issue at the trailing edge of the rear doors. It looks like you have taken full advantage of that with your new tires.
I've been thinking of looking for a two door Range Rover from Spain as well. Who did you get it from and is there any rust?

I bought it from a Rover/Jaguar specialist Auto Maganto. It was the worst one he's ever traded, and he wasn't quite upfront about just how poor the mechanical condition of the engine and suspension (all the bushings were worn out, but swivel balls good, driveshafts on their last leg, engine runs but overheats, trans and transfer case in good shape). He was completely open about the issues with the body, dents and scratches everywhere, and some bodges. Being lazy, I paid a little more and had him handle the export. I'm happy with the price I paid. It's no showcar, and I expect to add some additional dents and scratches. The suspension has already been rebuilt with parts to lift it. The plan was to try out the diesel to see if I could live with it, and if not, then do an GM LS swap which I am now gathering parts for. So I'm not crying about the condition of any of the mechanical parts, but may have negotiated another $1k off the price.

The tires are a popular 235/85-16, which fit and look good with a 2-3" suspension lift and uncut body. Those KM2 are out of production in that size, but it will likely get a more street friendly set for weekday use. And yes, this was the last year for the VM diesel.

On our way back home from a coastal trip... She is currently going through a makeover so the roof rack is looking a little empty. New RTT coming soon :)

I am starting to setup my LR3 to use for Search and rescue. I have owned this Rover for 10 years now and I am still very happy with it.

I ditched the BFG muds, which were nearing the end of their life and replaced them with a full set (7) of ADF split rims running Goodyear Hi-Miler tyres. I still have a fair way to go until the vehicle is where I want it to be. Mechanically though, it has proven itself well and truly in the short time I've had it.

Mounted the new wheel arches today. Do not believe the vendors who claim these give enough clearance for 37" tires on a 5" lift. I'm running 5" springs and 1" body lift and while this would be fine on the road (heck, I didn't have any rubbing with my stock arches on the road) it'll rub heavily once it's flexed out.
