Full Size Dodge Thread

I have seen both ford and chevy threads, but not dodge. Time to change that! New or old, post 'em up!
Here's mine: 1984 Dodge W250 4x4 Prospector. Originally a 318 5.2l truck, now a rebuilt 360 5.9l. TF727, NP208, D44/D60. 225,000 miles and counting. It is my daily driver, first truck and project. I love everything about the truck except the gas mileage and non-overdrive automatic. I am currently in the process of installing a dual fuel propane conversion kit, and several other small items. These dodges are getting harder and harder to find, and when you do, they are either beat up, lifted 12 inches, or both. anyway, enough talking, more pics!!

Ummm, Dodges! I'm a big fan of those too even though I don't own one of my own. Here are a few of my buddy Coloradobill's well-built Ram Chargers and a few others.

Bill's old '83

It died and gave up its soul to build a '93 with EFI, A/C and OD

The '93 with the goods from the '83. A different Expo member owns her now. I think I miss them as much as he does.

My buddy Ty also has a sweet '05 Cummins/6 speed. We just recently installed the Carli Starter Kit on it. What a great kit!

I thought the SAME exact thing............such a waste!

Believe me, it was in much worse shape than it looked. It was an Ex-Colorado State Patrol rig that had been to hell and back a few times which is why he kept the best parts of it and laid it to rest.

Thats a shame to see a ramcharger like that, but his 93 is awesome! If I didnt need a 3/4 ton, I would probably be in a ramcharger. Did it have 3/4 ton axles? 5.2L or 5.9L?

Here my 1993 Converted W350

It started out life as a 2wd D350 Dually Long Bed. Cummins Powered. Now its 22" shorter. Single Rear Wheel. Jungles Spring Mounts in the front with a bastard pack of 56" chevy springs and in the rear a shackle flip and Chevy 63" springs. Overall about 5" of lift. And some Radial 38.5 Pitbull Maddog Tires. Slowly becoming my expo/wheelin' rig. I have about 100miles on it since the 4wd conversion was done. Chasing down some issues, but seems to be pretty solid!

Yep, D44 front and D60 full-floater rear. Both stuffed with ARB's. The '83 had a 5.9L while the '93 had a 5.2L. He kept the engine when the blue one went to Ram Charger heaven.

Nice truck! Definately unique! :sombrero:

Nice! I'd love to stuff some ARB's into mine. The 5.2 is a great motor, albeit gutless. Mine had 215, 000 on it when It got pulled, and it started right up in -10 degree weather! The 5.9, on the other hand, has slightly more power. :ylsmoke:

Somewhere in the list is my build thread for Ryan the Ramcharger. My '87 RC will likely go to my son in a few years (or less), then he can continue with the truck. I purchased a new computer, then lost most of the RC pics I had during a transfer from Windows 7 (old machine) to Windows 8 (new machine)...urgh!

This is a typical outfitting: 360, 727, NP208, D44CAD and Chrysler 9.75" with 3.23 gears, 4" lift and 33" tires. I have plans for other things.

My past Dodge trucks were utility trucks, both 3/4- and 1-tons:

This is the only pic I have of my 1977 W300 that was stolen from the business parking lot I worked for in 1998. This was a great truck, 3-mpg highway...but a great truck!

Nearly 15 years later, I am trying to purchase another, very similar truck. This is not a sickness though:

It's love.

Your ramcharger is cool, and I love your dodge pick ups! Especially the orange one with the utility box!
