If you’ve recently stopped by our offices or possibly seen us out on the trail—you will likely have noticed that a good portion of our team has been using carrying around Field Notes. Generally it’s because we’re stealing them from Charles at Expedition Apparel, but it doesn’t mean we haven’t fallen for the simple, lightweight, and durable design of the Made in the U.S.A. notebooks. We’re exited to see that they’ve just released a limited-production Expedition edition that features an option of a high visibility “Antarctic Survey Orange” or “Polar Night Black” cover. Adding to the durability and expedition theme of the notebooks is the inclusion of water and tear-proof Yupo synthetic paper. The Expedition edition Field Notes will also be part of Ben Saunder’s kit as he retraces the route of of Robert Falcon Scott’s Antarctic journey.
