Project Titan is Ready for Alaska

It’s more than just a great truck, it’s a unique project for a worthy cause. For the last two months, Nissan has worked in conjunction with their extensive Facebook fan base to collaborate on a one-off custom build of a 2014 Titan Crew Cab Pro-4X pickup. Through Facebook, Nissan asked their fans what they wanted in the truck officially dubbed as “Project Titan,” and this was the end result.

Built to take on the Alaskan wilderness, Project Titan will be piloted by Wounded Warrior alumni David Guzman and Kevin McMahon. Their Alaskan journey commenced this week, with updates scheduled to be posted on Nissan’s dedicated Facebook page.

The truck itself contains a long list of modifications and refinements starting with the addition of a NISMO cold-air intake and Borla cat-back exhaust paired to the 5.6-liter V-8. The 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires are wrapped around 18-inch Fuel Revolver wheels, the imposing bull bar is paired to a custom roof rack, both fitted with LED light bars.

The interior of the truck received similar upgrades with a full navigational system, Katzkin leather seats and custom shifter and steering wheel. Trailing behind the truck is a military inspired trailer vetted with a roof top tent, water and fuel storage solutions, as well as a full kitchen. The digital camp wrap gives the truck a distinctive look befitting the project’s beneficiaries.
