The 2014 Range Rover Sport was supposed to be shown to the public for the first time at the New York Auto Show on March 26th…did it happen that way? Not exactly… The totally re-designed Range Rover Sport showed up on the VMax 200 Facebook page earlier today, after a picture was taken at an unnamed auto shop. We’ve heard rumors that the 5.0L V8 found in the 2013 Range Rover and current Sport model is out, and a Supercharged 3.0L V6 is in along with a lighter-weight aluminum chassis. We’re still waiting to hear more details on the re-designed Sport, will this be an entirely new platform? Will it keep some of the off-road prowess associated with the Range Rover marque? We’ll keep you updated.

What are your initial thoughts?
