The 200 Series Toyota Land Cruiser hasn’t been the most popular model for overlanders to start modifying, which is perhaps due to the generally high resale value of the trucks which sold for nearly $80,000 when new. However, with nearly 400 horses under the hood the 200 Series is a powerful and comfortable long distance cruiser perfect for traveling in North America and abroad. Once modified, the slightly bulbous 200 becomes a force to recon with off the pavement, with the added benefit of a variety of factory traction-enhancing gadgets to keep you going in the correct direction. This particular specimen has been modified with factory TRD wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich KM2′s, front and rear ARB bumpers, OME/Icon suspension, Slee sliders, and even dual batteries. With 56k miles and an asking price of $50,000 you’re getting a competitively priced vehicle with thousands in aftermarket extras.

Check it out on the Expedition Portal Forum Classifieds. [link]

Here’s what the seller has to say about the Land Cruiser:

2009 Land Cruiser, 56k miles. Rear entertainment, nav.

I purchased this for my wife (she wasn’t present/BIG MISTAKE) – she wants a stock 2013 instead.

I will keep it if I sell our 4runner first.

I can’t take any credit for any of the modifications.

The previous owner took wonderful care and built this vehicle.

My wife’s arthritis makes it too challenging due to the height/swing outs/etc.

I’d love to have it as a daily driver.

The list of modifications is extensive.

Here are just a few highlights:

  • ARB bumpers
  • Slee sliders
  • OME/ICON suspension
  • 3rd seats available
  • KM2 tires with spares (almost new)
  • TRD 17″ wheels
  • dual batteries
  • ARB compressor
  • Hi Lift jack (not seen in pic)

There’s a build thread on the MUD under IPOR 200. I only ask that you respect the previous owner’s privacy.

I’m only asking what I have into it.

50k/firm

Serious inquiries only. No trades.

Not a rush to sell, but we found a 2013 demo that we hope to get.
