La Aduana: 1985 Land Rover Defender 110

alt

The Land Rover Defender 110 is a rare bird here in the United States. The few that have made it stateside are older models and unfortunately, due to high demand and low availability, have prices that can quickly reach outrageous levels. Because so many of these trucks are cost prohibitive for the average consumer, it’s nice to see a 110 like this within reach at a current bid of just $15,000.

Running on Land Rover’s 3.5-liter V8, this truck has racked up just 105,000 miles between the United Kingdom and Florida where it is currently located. The advertisement states that it starts right up every time and is completely dependable, which for a Land Rover may be a relative thing. Although it appears to be in pretty good shape, a few blemishes are to be expected with a 28-year-old truck. The paint was redone in the UK in the original white color, but apparently isn’t in great shape per the listing. By the look of the pictures however, the interior looks to be well cared for and remains in good condition. In today’s market, affordable 110’s like this are rare and usually go quick. Don’t miss your chance to check it out before someone snaps up this great truck.
