This photo was taken at around 1130pm local time under a full moon after riding nearly all day through the Atacama desert. Luckily, I made it to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile just in time for dinner which allowed me to continue until I was a stones-throw away from the borders of Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina. I'm camped in Chile around 4200m (13,800 feet) and if I could have fit a full-sized tripod along with me on my Pan-American motorcycle journey you would be able to see all three countries in the background.
