added a Bussman fuse/relay box to my WJ to cleanup some wiring. used the complete kit from WagonGear. i think this is the cleanest kit for relays and fuses that i've seen, so just wanted to share. the full writeup is here....

the Bussman stuff is high quality, and the WagonGear kit is nicely done and a good value IMO compare to building your own.

Nice clean install.

I used the bussmann block myself, I searched high and low for something with relays and fuse mounting solutions in one and finally found it. Good to see more people jumping on it as well, that prewired setup is a nice bit of kit.

I setup mine with 3 mini relays and 10 bussed fuses, but I am only using 2 relays and 3 fuse positions currently, but the 3rd relay is wired and ready to go if I find a use for it. It is definitely weather tight though. I bought a cheap metripack crimper and all the pins, seals and plugs, I could definitely see myself using another one of these blocks for future projects

Is this unit still available? IH8MUD.com says no.
Also, can someone tell me if/how to remove the wire pins to reconfigure?

Thanks!

It's from the Bussmann 15300 line of relay blocks: http://www.cooperindustries.com/con...ion/Resources/catalog_pages/BUS_Tns_15300.pdf

Here's a place that sells a kit: http://www.dirtboundoffroad.com/accessories/aux-relay-fuse-panel/
The only thing it doesn't come with is the rubber plugs to seal up holes that you're not running wires into. You'd have to source those separately (Delphi Packard part number 12010300). Oh and you'll also need the correct crimper for the terminals.

Very detailed write up of a guy installing one: http://mintzer.com/Jeep/AuxElectrical.htm

I have one that I intended to use but never got around to installing it. PM me an offer if you're interested.
