Default AEV is coming to Texas

My contact at AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) sent me the following email and I thought I'd see if any of you are interested in participating:

I am sending an engineer of ours (Dave Yegge) down to Texas to visit some of our dealers. While he is down I would like to invite any JK owners (perhaps from a club) to meet Dave over Pizza and learn more about AEV. Dave is the man responsible for our turn-key vehicle assembly in Michigan and he will have one of our vehicles on hand for show and tell. Dave also worked for Chrysler for over ten years and was part of the TJ Design/Development Department. In short, he’s a wealth of information and a great guy. He’ll be passing through Texas in February. Have you got any group of people in mind who might enjoy meeting him and learning more about AEV’s JK products?

Let me know if you're interested and I'll work with Chris @ AEV to make it happen and will follow-up with specific dates/locations. Cheers!

-Frank

That that mean he is coming to Houston? If so I would love to meet him and the AEV Jeep. I have been thinking of getting their Nth Degree lift kit and some other products of theirs for awhile.

Default Good!

Just be sure to publish the meet dates as soon as possible so I can make arrangements to travel from Oklahoma down to visit with him!

Any chance he'll be in the DFW area?

I'm not sure on dates or locations yet but I believe they are expecting to hit the Houston/DFW/Austin areas while here but will confirm this as soon as they've solidified their schedule. Stay tuned!

Do you happen to have a White AEV JK with a roof rack and snorkel and live in OKC?

I don't know who that is; nice jeep though! Mine is JK Detonator yellow, hence the name...

DUH...wasn't thinking about the color. I keep seeing this white AEV all over the place and thought maybe it was you. Are you in OKC? I have a Redrock AEV JK and in OKC. I actually picked mine up from them in Michigan and toured the facility but may drive down to Texas depending on when and where they are.

Just an FYI to let y'all know that AEV will also be at the Chile Challenge in New Mexico in February. Here's the email from Chris:

Thanks for forwarding this. Ironically, I have another of my salesmen going to the Chile Challenge. So we’ve got that covered.

Just thought I'd pass this on to those who plan to attend that event as well. It'll be going on February 24-27.
