just got this from Darrin, www.ruf-inc.com/fm_features.htm I haven't been down to see it yet. I didn't realize how big this machine was until parked next to the Uni's - Brad

That is interesting; has Darrin said anything about the reasons for using custom U.S. made parts instead off-the shelf parts from Mitsubishi?

Here's what the chassis looks like

Can you say, "American Unicat?"

Despite the photo, RUF Inc won't sell the chassis
with single rear wheels, apparently because Dana,
the supplier of the rear axle, won't offer a warranty
if the axle is used with single rear wheels.

Looks to be a competent platform. Has anyone seen the bare chassis price?

Thats what I want to know, looks very promising. Are these trucks available 4wd? Or does RUF do a conversion? Is this guy a member or our forum? He should be, his stuff looks really cool.

Oohhh, I was on the Fuso web site, looks like they have a 4 door model as well.
Sorry if this is old news.

I don't know if he is.

I stumbled across his website a few years ago.
